ABOUT 关于我

Sarah Wong is a Dutch-Chinese, London-based filmmaker, writer, and interdisciplinary artist whose work blends Eastern and Western sensibilities to explore identity, gender, diaspora, food, and intergenerational trauma. Moving fluidly between narrative, commercial, and experimental forms, they defy genre and medium—working across film, theatre, and visual arts to tell transformative stories that bridge cultures and generations.

Sarah’s work has been exhibited at spaces such as Melkweg Expo, Pakhuis de Zwijger, and International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), and they’ve collaborated with clients like Rolls-Royce, VOGUE, Netflix, Mercedes-AMG, Apple TV, and Hunger Magazine.

Growing up in the Netherlands in a Chinese immigrant family deeply shaped their perspective, fueling a storytelling practice rooted in quiet observation, curiosity, and world-building mixed with poetry and striking visuals.
